What is The Longest Day about?

It’s an annual Motorcycle event to raise money for charity on/or near the Longest Day (daylight hours) of the year and a get together with like minded bikers. The Longest Day charity motorcycle event is organised by members from the xrv.org.uk forum. Most of the riders that take part in the motorcycle charity event are also members of xrv.org.uk, but you do not need to be a member to take part in this event, every rider is welcome. And every motorcycle make and model is welcome!

The Route

The route is normally an end-to-end point to be completed within a day. Ferries may using to completed The Longest Day event. The events have involved traveling to other countries i.e. Ireland. The use of Ferries/Euro Tunnel may be required. 

Registering

Anyone can register for the motorcycle charity event, visit the registration page for more information. Also becoming a member of xrv.org.uk may be useful as there is a forum for The Longest Day under the charity events section. If you join xrv.org.uk you will get to meet other riders taking part in The Longest Day. It is not necessary to join xrv.org.uk to be involved with the ride. We’d love to see you there whatever forum you’re on, or none!! We are also on Facebook, where you can open up dissussions if you prefer.

There is a small registration free, in return you will receive a registration pack.

There is no minimal amount you have to raise to join us.
